Rosehall Run Vineyards
Rosehall Run grows wines that are balanced and elegant, a reflection of both terroir and vintage.
The Place.
Rosehall Run’s 150-acre farm was selected due to its proximity to Lake Ontario (1-2 kms on three sides) and the remarkable clay soil scattered with rock and shale fragments on a calcareous limestone base. One of the earliest Prince Edward County wineries established in the west central region known as Hillier Ward; planting of the vineyard began in 2001 with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Today there are 25 acres of vinifera. A hands-on approach to winemaking, and environmentally sound grape farming practices, extract optimum fruit from the unique PEC terroir year after year and allows the use of minimal intervention in the winery.

Rosebud Brut Rose"This sunset-hued county sparkling rose has a charming ambience. Tart red berries, cranberries, and cherries are joined by notes of fresh herbs and wet stones here. I like the firm, energetic palate, the bright acidity, and the vibrant effervescence here, while the finish is long and refreshing." 92 pts. Megha Jandhyala, WineAlign
